Located inside the St. Regis Cap Cana Resort, Kawa joins the destination’s coffee scene with a clear concept.
It’s a small space but intentionally designed. From the origin of the coffee to the way it’s served. It’s vision is to become an “it place” for coffee and pastry lovers in Cap Cana.
Here’s how they’re doing it.
Beyond coffee
Kawa was created as part of the hotel’s focus on sustainability and social awareness.
The concept follows a farm-to-table approach, highlighting Dominican coffee producers and the cultural value of the country’s coffee industry.
Here, coffee is not just a product. It’s part of the identity.
Exclusive to St. Regis Cap Cana
Kawa is an exclusive concept at St. Regis Cap Cana. It’s not a replicated brand. That makes it a destination-specific experience.
Trying its coffee –which carries the same name and was developed in collaboration with Casa Barista & Co.– is something you can only do here.
This exclusive blend is also available for purchase, extending the experience beyond the hotel.
A menu that blends coffee and fresh options
The menu includes espressos, lattes, and cold brews. It also features matcha, natural juices, and green juices.
It’s designed for different moments of the day, from a morning coffee to lighter afternoon options.

Dominican cacao as part of the concept
Here, the pastry selection incorporates 100% Dominican cacao. It’s not just a detail. It’s a core part of the concept.
Here, coffee and cacao work as a shared language.
Pastry that complements and elevates the experience
Croissants, pain au chocolat, and berry danishes are part of the offering. They are classic options, well executed, designed to complement the coffee without overcomplicating it.
There are also vegan, sugar-free, and plant-based milk options available.
A dynamic that turns it into a meeting point
Kawa works both as a sit-down space and a grab-and-go spot, this last format allows you to stop by, order, and go without compromising quality.
In addition, everyday, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Kawa offers 50% off all pastries. This moment shifts the dynamic and turns it into a social spot within the hotel.
What to try
Cascara tea (coffee cherry tea). It stands out both for its flavor and for the fact that not everyone knows coffee husk can be used to make tea.
Kawa is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. You can also purchase their coffee to take home or give as a gift to your loved ones.
