During Jack Nicklaus’ recent visit to Cap Cana, Barbara Nicklaus took time to visit the Centro Educativo Forjando un Futuro, where she learned more about the Foundation’s history, its educational mission, and the projects shaping its next stages of growth.
Throughout the visit, members of the Foundation shared the work being carried out in support of children and families, as well as the vision behind the center’s continued development.

Kids and parents got a closer look at everything from volleyball, swimming, and soccer to technology, music, and more, with demonstrations that made it easy to imagine what the new school year could hold.
It was a morning filled with possibilities, new interests, and plenty of inspiration for the months ahead.

Jack Nicklaus returned to Cap Cana to review the progress of Las Iguanas, his second signature course in the destination city and the next chapter in a golf legacy that began here with Punta Espada.
During his visit, he toured all 18 holes and shared his input on the completion of the final nine, helping guide the course toward its full opening. The first nine are already in operation, while the remaining holes continue to take shape with the same attention to landscape, playability, and character that define a Jack Nicklaus Signature design.
For Cap Cana, it is another step toward an even stronger golf offering in the Caribbean, shaped by one of the most influential names in the history of the game.
