Jack Nicklaus returned to Cap Cana to review the progress of Las Iguanas, his second signature course in the destination city and the next chapter in a golf legacy that began here with Punta Espada.
During his visit, he toured all 18 holes and shared his input on the completion of the final nine, helping guide the course toward its full opening. The first nine are already in operation, while the remaining holes continue to take shape with the same attention to landscape, playability, and character that define a Jack Nicklaus Signature design.
For Cap Cana, it is another step toward an even stronger golf offering in the Caribbean, shaped by one of the most influential names in the history of the game.

As the Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026 enter their final stretch, Colí, the official mascot, continues to celebrate the natural heritage of the Dominican Republic.
Inspired by the broad-billed tody, known locally as the barrancolí, this small bird is endemic to Hispaniola and recognized by its vivid green plumage, red throat, and lively personality.
