This past May 4th to the 6th, teams from all over the United States and the Caribbean have been fishing on the East Coast Waters of the Dominican Republic, seeking the great White Marlin bite that gets better and better each year. This year, Efrain Rodriguez aboard the mighty Doña Lucy, accumulated 400 of the 700 points reeled in by the Doña Lucy crew. The second place was dominated by the Blue Bird crew with a total of 625 points lead by Carolina Mederos, who released a total of 300 points allowing to conquer the 3rd place as Top Angler and special mention as the only female angler int he tournament. The 3rd triumphing spot was held by the Black Gold crew with 525 points, headed by Mike McCarthy with 300 points, who won the second Top Angler rank. The Cap Cana fishing season is just beginning with many more tournaments to come. Stay tuned!!
