This past May 23rd to the 26th, 17 teams from all over the United States and the Caribbean fished on the east coast waters of the Dominican Republic, seeking to subdue the 2018 Caribbean Billfish Tournament (CBT) hosted from Marina Cap Cana . For a second consecutive win in this fishing season, The Doña Lucy crew vanquished their rivals with 900 points, headed by their top scorer Rafael Caicedo who accumulated 400 points and earnedc the 3rd rank of the top anglers of the 2018 CBT tournament.The second top boat was dominated by the Dulce Coco crew with a total of 850 points. The 3rd triumphing boat crew spot was held by the Black Gold crew with 800 points, headed by José Gómez with 500 points, who won the Top Angler rank. Other rankings within the tournament which are a must mentioning are Rafael Martínez from the Blue Bird crew who accumulated 400 points conquering the 2nd rank as Top Angler; the Top Juvenile Angler ranking was subdued by Eduardo Artau Jr. from the Heaven Can Wait crew who released 200 points and the Top Female Angler was trounced by Edlin Hernández who released 200 points.
