Ancora announces the first exhibition of the Ancora Film Festival will be next Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 6:00 pm in its Amphitheater with a privileged location and views of the Cap Cana Marina, starting with the movie Catastrópico.
This will be the first of a series of presentations created with the objective of promoting the exhibition and dissemination of Dominican cinema in Cap Cana. Ancora has been chosen as a location for several productions for its design and picturesque landscapes. In this first edition, the Catastrópico film will be projected. This film was directed by Jorge Hazoury with the participation of top-level actors. An action, drama and comedy movie filmed entirely in the Dominican Republic and shows beautiful destination within the island: Cap Cana, Ancora Punta Cana, Playa Juanillo, Samaná, Baní, among others.
Admission is free and the screening will have English subtitles. The event will feature the participation of prominent personalities from the world of national cinema.
