Two gatherings, one at Vivace and another by the sea at Api Beach, combined Pilates, wellness and community connection.
Our surroundings can also transform the way we experience movement. With this in mind, Co.Co. Pilates took part in two gatherings in Cap Cana that combined exercise with a break from routine. While each had its own format, both shared one purpose: building community through wellness.
Body & Flow: a gathering to connect
Held at Vivace, Body & Flow grew from an initiative by PlanIt and the venue. Co.Co. Pilates joined with a class that set the stage for a day of shared experiences among women.
Alongside Pilates, the event featured sound healing, a market showcasing local brands and food offerings. Participants could make time for their well-being, learn about local businesses and enjoy time together.
“We wanted participants to experience more than a Pilates class,” the Co.Co. Pilates team explains. The activities complemented one another, offering different ways to step away from routine and enjoy the gathering.
The event sold out. This response encouraged the team to continue developing experiences outside its usual setting.

A seaside pause
Meanwhile, the collaboration with Arajet brought Pilates to Api Beach. There, Co.Co. Pilates led a seaside session for members of the airline’s team.
This gathering aimed to make room for wellness within the work routine. Participants could move, breathe and spend time with colleagues outside their workplace.
For the studio, this collaboration also illustrated a way to bring wellness into company culture. At the same time, the setting connected the activity with the sea and nature.
Community in motion
Both gatherings reflect a vision that Co.Co. Pilates plans to continue developing. The studio remains at the heart of the brand, while partnerships help bring its philosophy to other spaces.
The goal is to create experiences that complement one another while also giving community projects greater visibility.
The next gathering, Pilates & Horses, will take place on October 24. The experience will continue exploring the relationship between movement and nature in Cap Cana.
