CIGAR GUIDE IN CAP CANA
PART 1: HARVEST CIGAR LOUNGE
Before sunset, when the breeze softens and the atmosphere settles, Harvest Cigar Lounge once again becomes the place where conversation, drinks, and cigars find their natural rhythm.
Reopened in February 2025, the lounge does not seek to be the newest, but rather one of the most consistent within Cap Cana’s cigar scene—a space that has earned its place through coherence, atmosphere, and one of the most privileged views in the entire area.
A Ritual That Brings Together Equestrian Life, Padel, and Cigars
The relationship between equestrian culture and a good cigar is a classic that spans decades. At Harvest, this connection unfolds naturally. After a ride, many visitors find here the perfect way to close the day. The presence of the Harvest padel court, located right next to the lounge, further reinforces the sporty and social character of the setting.
Between matches, horseback rides, and sunsets, the lounge becomes a meeting point where sport, camaraderie, and the cigar ritual coexist effortlessly.
International Selection with a Dominican Soul
Harvest Cigar Lounge features a curated selection of cigars from Nicaragua, Ecuador, and Cuba, all crafted with Dominican tobacco. Among its most notable offerings is the Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Gran Reserva, and it comes as no surprise that Arturo Fuente is also the best-selling brand among its visitors.
Classic Atmosphere with Effortless Exclusivity
The charm of the lounge lies in its balance. It is elegant, intimate, and social—without excess. Its refined aesthetic, paired with a strategic location between the energy of the padel courts and the serenity of open views, makes it an ideal setting for long sunsets and unhurried conversations.
A Lounge with a Life of Its Own
While its essence is calm, the space also moves to the rhythm of thoughtfully designed events. DJ nights, coffee parties, and curated activations complement its personality, allowing the lounge to maintain a life beyond the everyday.
The goal is to offer Cap Cana’s community a place to purchase quality cigars at fair prices without having to travel far. It has also become an ideal after-spot following a padel match or an equestrian practice.
To Live the Full Experience
For first-time visitors, the recommendation is to take part in one of its tastings—an experience best enjoyed when shared.
Private Events and Menu
The space is available for private events and offers the same menu as the Harvest restaurant, ensuring gastronomic coherence and quality throughout the experience.
Its Differentiating Factor in the Local Scene
In the words of its manager, Carlos Berroa, the value of the lounge rests on three pillars: the view, the prices, and the coherence of the space.
It does not seek to be the newest, but the most faithful to its essence.
