In this occasion, we stayed at the Sanctuary Cap Cana hotel, which is located in one of the best known tourist destinations in the Dominican Republic, and could not have been a better choice. It has incredible views of the Caribbean Sea, the food is delicious and is the perfect place to relax. What I liked the most? It is located at Juanillo Beach, its tropical landscape and crystal clear waters make it a paradise, the tranquility that is breathed is appreciated. I loved it!
We also had the opportunity to make an excursion to Isla Saona. This islands coast stands out for the presence of reefs, mangroves and starfish. I think it is a good option to go alone, if you are looking to disconnect from everything and with company, because the views will captivate you.
I cant go on without mentioning my favorite restaurant in the world: Bachata Rosa, by the Dominican merengue master, Juan Luis Guerra and chef Joaquín Renovales, which is located in BlueMall. The establishment is an ode to the artist’s career, in fact, many of the corners are inspired by his video clips. In addition, I was lucky to be able to play the Guerra guitar, a luxury! The menu is a real show of flavors, with a great selection of dishes made with quality products and from the island. My favorites are the Mediterranean salad and the double Nutella cookie!
In short, this is one of the most emblematic places in the Caribbean and, personally, I think it is an ideal city to escape the winter cold and relax alone, with family or friends. What do you think of the trip? Do you have it in mind as your next destination?
