Summer Camps in Cap Cana: Adventure, Sports and Learning for All Ages

As summer vacation approaches, many families begin looking for activities that help children and teenagers stay active, discover new skills, and make the most of their time off from school.

In Cap Cana, the options go far beyond traditional summer camps. This year’s offerings include programs focused on sports, creativity, technology, adventure, and outdoor learning.

Designed to Build New Skills

·       Forest Camp

For those looking for a nature and adventure-focused experience, Forest Camp offers a program designed for participants between the ages of 6 and 15.

The program combines mountain sports, survival skills, outdoor recreation, and activities designed to develop leadership, adaptability, and confidence.

The program runs from June 22 through August 14 and is divided into four two-week modules.

According to its organizers, the goal is to use adventure as a tool to strengthen self-esteem, encourage independence, and promote teamwork.

Racquet Sports

·   Tennis for Young Players

Racquet Village will host its summer tennis camp from June 29 through July 31 for children ages 6 to 11. Programs will also be available for adults.

Participants may choose between half-day and full-day schedules, with training sessions designed to develop technical skills both on and off the court.

Beyond tennis instruction, the program promotes discipline, coordination, healthy habits, and teamwork.

Los Establos Padel Club will offer a camp designed for children and teenagers who want to learn, play, and develop their athletic skills during the summer break.

Activities take place on covered courts and combine training sessions, recreational activities, and group dynamics focused on learning and fun.

In addition to sports instruction, the program encourages social interaction, teamwork, and confidence in a safe environment.

·    CCHS Summer Camp

Cap Cana Heritage School will once again host its traditional summer camp, featuring a combination of sports, arts, technology, and recreation.

Participants will enjoy activities such as swimming, soccer, basketball, golf, padel, yoga, cooking, music, art, science experiments, taekwondo, water games, and Maker Space experiences.

The program also includes excursions to different locations within Cap Cana, expanding the experience beyond the school campus.

Adventure Throughout the Summer

·    Terra Bike Cap Cana

More than a summer camp, Terra Bike Cap Cana offers a year-round schedule of activities for children, teenagers, and adults.

The experiences are designed for those who enjoy sports, adventure, and spending time outdoors.

Options include guided bike tours through some of Cap Cana’s most scenic landscapes, including lakes, mangroves, beaches, the marina, and cliffs.

The program also includes beginner cycling lessons, motorcycle introduction programs, and guided excursions adapted to different experience levels.

Although Belote Swimming will not host a formal summer camp this year, it will continue offering its regular swimming instruction programs.

Technology, Creativity and Learning

·     TechKids

For children interested in technology and innovation, TechKids presents its STEAM Playdates.

These private robotics and programming experiences are designed for children ages 5 to 12 and take place in the comfort of participants’ homes.

During three-hour sessions, children work with LEGO Spike Prime Robotics, engineering challenges, programming exercises, collaborative activities, and hands-on problem-solving experiences.

Throughout June, July, and August, the Cap Cana Foundation will open the doors of two of its most important projects: its apiary and nursery.

Guided visits allow participants to learn about conservation, environmental education, and sustainability initiatives taking place within Cap Cana Destination City.

The experience is ideal for families interested in biodiversity and environmental awareness.

Families looking for a different kind of summer activity will find an option at Marina Fundadores.

Escape Room Cap Cana will host its Summer Escape Adventure, an interactive experience where participants solve puzzles, discover clues, and complete team challenges in a fun and immersive environment.

The activity includes a themed escape room, treasure hunt, summer challenges, group photo, and surprise prizes.

It is designed for families and groups of friends who enjoy teamwork, problem-solving, and creative challenges.
