Eden Roc Cap Cana has announced the opening of its new 30,000 square foot spa, Eden Roc Spa & Wellness Centre. The result of a $2m renovation program within the Relais & Châteaux hotel, the move coincides with a partnership between the hotel and Natura Bissé and appointment of brand new spa director, Pedro Castillo.
Eden Roc Spa & Wellness Centre’s expansive space will include 7 treatment rooms with indoor and outdoor cabins, a dedicated 1,200sqft anti-gravity yoga area with 12 individual aero yoga structures, an indoor and outdoor Aqua Garden with freshwater pool, a 3,000sqft state-of-the-art gym with an in-house personal fitness trainer and a new wellness bar with its own range of tropical fruit juices and smoothies.
The exclusive and therapeutic island-leading facilities are now managed by highly-experienced and newly appointed Spa Director, Pedro Castillo, who brings with him a wealth of experience from international spas in Europe, the US, South America and the Caribbean within brands such as Dreams and Secrets.
The new spa has been recognized in the Forbes Travel Guide SPA Ratings for 2019, being the first and only SPA in the Dominican Republic in the guide, and was recently nominated in the World Spa Awards for Best Spa in the Dominican Republic.
