The Bohemian cigar lounge, opened in December 2020 at the Fishing Lodge Cap Cana, doesn’t operate as a standalone space. It’s part of a broader concept where the night unfolds in stages, and each venue plays a distinct role within the overall experience.
It’s a journey through cocktails, gastronomy, and cigars that redefines how a night out is meant to be lived.

A connected experience
Everything here is designed to flow. As part of the Bohemian and Lulu Tasting Bar ecosystem, menus are available across all spaces, allowing guests to move seamlessly between them without interruption.
It’s less about choosing one place, and more about moving through them.
The experience doesn’t start with the cigar. It starts earlier.
It might begin at the taco bar with margaritas, continue at the wine bar with a glass of wine and tapas, move through the bistro—where dishes like their baked Argentine empanadas have become favorites—and end at the lounge, with a cigar in hand and often a baseball game playing in the background.
It’s a natural progression, unforced, where each space sets up the next.
The atmosphere is comfortable and casual, striking a balance between social and relaxed. It works just as well for a night out with friends as it does for a long conversation or simply letting the evening unfold at its own pace.

Local and international cigars
The selection includes both local and international cigars, with a clear emphasis on Dominican production. Among them is Don Hicham, an in-house brand handmade in Bávaro, which forms part of the space’s identity.
Pairings and experiences
Beyond the menu, the experience is also shaped through pairings. The lounge hosts events featuring new cigar launches paired with rum or cognac, and on a regular night, the team recommends drinks based on your cigar selection.
A guided experience, without overcomplicating it.
Service as a differentiator
If there’s one element that defines the space, it’s the service. It’s what regular guests value most, and what ultimately keeps them coming back. Attentive without being intrusive, it adapts to the rhythm of each table.
Bohemian works best when understood as a whole. It’s less about choosing a single place and more about following the sequence.
Because here, more than the cigar itself, what matters is the moment you decide to light it.
