Fishing Tournaments
The Marina of Cap Cana, traditionally celebrates its two major tournaments, which are held during the fishing season with an estimated participation of forty boats (twenty boats per tournament).
Since opening in 2007, thanks to its geographical location, the Cap Cana Marina has managed to stand out among the major marinas of the Caribbean. “The Billfish Report” has considered this as the best place in the world to fish the prized Marlin.
Approximately 450 boats and 1,800 fishing enthusiasts visit each year. This includes fishing teams, internationally recognized professionals, coming from different parts of the world to enjoy the fishing season.
