Three international airports connect you to the destination.
Choose your gateway based on your departure city, flight schedules, and distance to your hotel.
The closest option
PUJ International Airport is the most convenient option for reaching Cap Cana, especially when traveling with children. It is approximately 10–15 minutes from the destination’s entrance. Travel time to your accommodation will depend on its location within the resort community.

Its directory includes American Airlines, JetBlue, Delta, United, Air Canada, Air Transat, WestJet, Copa Airlines, Avianca, LATAM, Arajet, Air Europa, British Airways, and Condor, among others. Routes and frequencies vary by departure city and season.
Taxis and car rentals are available. You can also book private transportation to your accommodation. Check with your hotel about pickup options and whether the service is included in your reservation or carries an additional charge.
The airport welcomes private and business aircraft, with dedicated terminals and specialized FBO services for passengers, crews, and aircraft.
Another gateway to the East
La Romana International Airport is an alternative for reaching Cap Cana if its flights, schedules, or fares better suit your trip. The drive takes approximately one to one and a half hours, depending on your hotel and road conditions.

Its offering includes American Airlines, Neos, and Condor, along with seasonal and charter services. The airport has also announced Iberojet flights from Madrid during specific seasons. Check the available schedule for your travel dates.
Taxis are available in the arrivals area, along with car rentals. You can also book a private transfer to Cap Cana in advance. Public transportation options near the airport are limited.
A dedicated private aviation terminal offers personalized assistance, coordination of security and customs procedures, and ground handling services.
An alternative with international connections
Las Américas José Francisco Peña Gómez International Airport provides access to Cap Cana from Santo Domingo. It may be a convenient choice if you find a connection, schedule, or fare that better suits your plans. The drive from the airport takes approximately two hours, depending on traffic and your chosen hotel.

Its directory includes American Airlines, JetBlue, Delta, United, Arajet, Copa Airlines, Avianca, Aeroméxico, Iberia, Air Europa, and Air Caraïbes, among others. Check the routes and frequencies available from your departure city.
Authorized SICHALA taxis and car rentals are available. You can also book private transportation from the airport to your accommodation in Cap Cana.
Las Américas welcomes general, private, and business aviation. Its FBO service, operated by Servair, helps with passengers, crews, and aircraft.
The Dominican Republic’s E-Ticket is mandatory for all passengers arriving or departing on commercial flights, including children. Complete it free of charge at eticket.migracion.gob.do before checking in.
Your trip requires an arrival form and a departure form, each with its own QR code. Families can register together, including minors, and share one code for each leg of the journey. Only adults complete the Customs section.
Save your arrival and departure codes on your phone or carry printed copies.
Compare airfare along with the cost of ground transportation and confirm airline availability for your dates. If traveling with children or pets, arrange suitable transportation in advance. The estimated driving times do not include immigration procedures or baggage claim.
