American Airlines Vacations (AVV) selected for the first time a Caribbean destination to carry out the “Race for Miles” contest, in which travel agents experience and engage in the selling points of top destinations.
Supported by AMResorts, the tour operators invited its best agents to Cap Cana, a tropical paradise situated in the heart of the Caribbean recognized for its luxury, exclusivity and the crystal blue waters with magnificent sugar-sand of Juanillo Beach.
American Airlines Vacations conducted scavenger hunts in Las Vegas over the years, but in late 2016 things changed and this is where “Race for Miles” contest is born. This version is the second time this event has taken place, first time in Mexico and now in the amazing Dominican Republic.
Secrets Cap Cana Resorts & Spa had the opportunity to host this important event in the beginning of November in which the participants enjoyed at the fullest the resort’s facilities and the Cap Cana destination. As part of the program, diverse activities were carried out; where American split its 1 million-mile prize among the competitors.
