Part of the Landscape

In Cap Cana, art is part of the destination’s very fabric, enriching everyday life through spaces where culture, architecture, and nature exist in perfect harmonyRather than existing as a collection of individual works, art is an integral expression of Cap Cana’s identity, enriching public spaces, luxury resorts, cultural venues, and gathering places throughout the community.

Landmark Works and Cultural Spaces

Thimo Pimentel Murals at Eden Roc Cap Cana

Renowned Dominican master Thimo Pimentel created one of Cap Cana’s most enduring artistic landmarks at Eden Roc Cap Cana through two large-scale murals located at the Caletón Beach Club. The works celebrate two defining elements of Dominican identity. One depicts the region’s rich fishing heritage, reflecting the historical relationship between coastal communities and the Caribbean Sea. The second pays tribute to the Taíno culture, incorporating symbols and imagery that honor the island’s indigenous roots. Together, the murals create a visual dialogue between Cap Cana’s natural beauty and the rich cultural heritage of the Dominican Republic.
