With the participation of international delegates and tour operators of the golf industry, the 6th edition of the Dominican Republic Golf Travel Exchange 2019 was held in Cap Cana. The facilities of the Secrets Cap Cana Resort & Spa housed the golf lovers who attended the meeting that seeks to present the Dominican Republic as the ideal destination for golf.
Teddy de Lara, executive president of Target, organizing firm of the activity said, “Today I feel proud and full of satisfaction of being part of this project that we organize year after year with the purpose of attracting international buyers from the tables of participants golf industry with our local suppliers” he concluded.
The agenda of DR Golf Travel Exchange 2019 included specialized seminars, a workshop that serves as a business meeting between international tour operators, Dominican hoteliers and golf course directors. During his speech De Lara valued the impact of golf in the Dominican economy, estimating within the entire national tourism industry that the figure is close to 390 million dollars.
