The Secrets Cap Cana Resort & Spa hotel is celebrating. With great pride and happiness they have just received the first place in the “IV Baristas Competition: 2018 Café Santo Domingo Pod Challenge”, organized by the Santo Domingo Coffee Institute, Aroma Coffee Service and Industrias Banilejas SAS, and recently held within the framework of the ” XXXII Commercial Exhibition of the National Association of Hotels and Restaurants “(ASONAHORES).
Esther Alvarez, was in charge of representing and bringing the award home, doing an incredible job with the hotel team, belonging to the AMResorts chain. This competition is one of the most important for baristas in the Dominican Republic and is carried out in order to promote excellence in the preparation of coffee and strengthen the profession of this art.
