About Pavel
Pavel is a Dominican artist that throughout his career, has received various awards, nominations and recognitions. He was nominated in 2010 for the Latin Grammy in the category Best Songwriter Album.4
In 2013 he won an EMMY in the Artist / Entertainment – Special category for his show “Big Band Núñez”, broadcasted on the Mega TV channel 5. The award was presented to him by the National Academy of Television, Arts and Science.
He is the winner of eleven Casandra awards (now known as SoberanoAwards), organized by ACROARTE and supported since 1987 by the Cervecería Nacional Dominicana, in categories such as Revelation of the Year, Soloist of the Year, Concert of the Year and Sovereign recognition obtained in the category of Best Male singer at the 2014 award ceremony. He won “Album of the Year 2016” award, the main musical category of the Soberano Awards, for “De Mis Insomnios”. 2 6
He was honored by the Dominican Association of Professionals in the Film Industry (ADOCINE) during the 1st La Silla Awards ceremony, held at the National Theater, located in the city of Santo Domingo, within the framework of the VII Film Festival Global. That night on November 17, 2013 he won two La Silla Awards, one for “Best Original Song for a Movie” and the other for “Best Musicalization”, the latter shared with recording engineer Arturo Piña.
