Cap Cana, Dominican R. – The DeRo Dominican Republic Foundation, an institution under the name of the outstanding former soccer player, Dwayne del Rosario held his opening press release at the prestigious Ancora Hotel at Cap Cana.
During the event, Del Rosario was appointed as an international soccer ambassador for Ancora, continuing with the settled program to develop Cap Canaa as a soccer destination.
The day after the cocktail and ribbon cutting act, an afternoon of training was held with children and youth from the communities of Vern and Punta Cana, who received valuable techniques and instructions on soccer and behavior on and off the court from Mr. de Rosario and his team. Likewise, the young people present were gifted autographed soccer shirts by the renowned football professional.
Among his achievements, Del Rosario has been an “All Stars” player, MVP, four time winner of the MLS Champions Cup, four times player of the Canadian national team. He is currently the MLSE ambassador, as well as founder of the DeRo United Soccer Academy.
