The destination Cap Cana held its traditional Punta Espada Member-Guest golf tournament, as part of the celebration of its 20th anniversary.
The traditional tournament has been held since 2012 and this year it concluded with a dinner held at the Eden Roc hotel, the only Relaix, and Chateau hotel in the country, enlivened by an international music band.
The Member-Guest is carried out with the purpose of entertaining all the members of the Punta Espada golf course and their guests for their loyalty to the destination city since its inception.
On this occasion, there was a record attendance and participants stood out in more than 95% of the East Coast and the South Coast of the United States, in a game under the match play format in pairs.
The winners of this 2022 tournament were Karin Kirkland and Peggy Gurney, in the Overall Champion category; César Rodríguez and Luis Matos in 1st Flight, as well as Angelo Toscano and James Hunt in 2nd Flight.
While Raymond Kooner and Sam Allen in 3rd Flight; Kris Dielman and Tom Miller in 4th Flight; Patrick Hafner and Rob Eshoo on the 5th Flight, Harry Shadoan and John Mimlitz on the 6th Flight, and finally Claudio González and Luis Emilio Velutini on the 7th Flight.
Finally, in the Ladies Winner category, the winners were Cindy Biecker and Andrea Brady, while in the Ladies Runner category they were Cindy Grider and Suzanne Dunphy.
