Hotel loyalty points can unlock all kinds of doors when you travel. Now, you can add 50 more all-inclusive luxury resorts to that list. This week, Choice Hotels added 50 luxury, all-inclusive AMResorts properties to its portfolio. Members can redeem and earn hotel points through its Choice Privileges program for a stay.
Travelers may be looking for a way to scale back the cost of their next family vacation or romantic retreat (whenever that may be) given financial pressures from the coronavirus pandemic. Hotel points might be just the way to do that if you cannot afford to buy out an entire property. All-inclusive resorts are favorites of many travelers who like the fact that they need not sign a bill for every drink or meal they order.
Whether you are earning points through credit card spending or have them saved up from previous travel, some future travel planning may not be a bad idea.
“We are seeing World of Hyatt members as some of the first guests to arrive as we bring Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva back online across the Caribbean and Mexico,” says Kevin Froemming, chief commercial officer of Playa Hotels & Resorts. The company notes they are seeing “significant redemptions” from World of Hyatt members at its Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara properties.
Choice Privileges and World of Hyatt are not the only loyalty programs where members can redeem their points in exchange for a free night at an all-inclusive resort. Here are some of the options where you can pay one price (in points) and erase the worry of being “nickeled and dimed” for other expenses throughout their stay.
