The Musical Documentary “Sol Caribe” was successfully presented at Movies at the Marina event hosted by Ancora in Cap Cana. The film was directed by Félix Limardo and produced by Victor Dumé. This event was sponsored by the Cap Cana Owners Association (APROCAP) and the Ministry of Tourism.
This cinematographic production has important historical value since it includes deceased icons of Dominican music. The night sealed with emotion and pride for Dominican Republic. This was an unforgettable night with the beautiful view of Cap Cana’s Marina.
Prior to the exhibition of Sol Caribe, the award-winning short “Larimar”, of the first UNIBE cinematrography promotion was presented.
The night continued lively with the presentation of TuriCarnaval by the Tourism Ministry with a mixed carnival show, showing different characters of the Dominican carnival. The audience sang and danced to the rhythm of Kinito Méndez’s merengue.
