As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility program, executives of Secrets Cap Cana (AM Resorts) donated materials for the educational center of Juanillo.
Part of the funds raised at the AM Resorts 1st Invitational Golf Tournament in Punta Espada were given to the school. The donation was delivered by Daniel Hernández, vice president of operations of AMResorts for the Dominican Republic, and Lionel Gómez, general manager of Secrets Cap Cana. The donations were received by Lucas Evangelista Guerrero, director of the school
Denis Rosario, regional director of administration and finance of AMResorts, and executives of Secrets Cap Cana also attended the event and participated in a sports afternoon with the students.
“We are very excited about this school rennovation. Without a doubt, it makes us very happy that each student can receive classes in a more adequate and equipped environment, which will contribute to improve their experience and quality of studies,” said Hernández.
Gómez informed that the school, where 507 elementary & middle school students assist , received: armchairs, fans, paintings, sports materials, among other donations that sum to a total value of RD $ 205,000. He said, “We take our Social Responsibility program with great seriousness and commitment. We are sure that this donation will be of great benefit to each student. We take pride in being part of their joy”.
