Margaritaville and Karisma Hotels & Resorts began the construction of the innovative Margaritaville Island Reserve by Karisma hotel in Cap Cana, in an event held with the presence of the President of the Dominican Republic, Danilo Medina S\u00e1nchez, accompanied by Rafael F\u00e9liz Germ\u00e1n, President of Karisma Hotels & Resorts, John Cohlan, Executive President of Margaritaville Holdings and Francisco Javier Garc\u00eda, Minister of Tourism of the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n
Margaritaville Island Reserve by Karisma serves as the introduction of this award-winning brand to the Dominican Republic and expands Karisma’s presence in the region. With an investment of US $ 150 million, the new property will create 1,100 new jobs. Its opening is scheduled for 2021.<\/p>\n
Located in the tourist, hotel and residential destination of Cap Cana, in front of Juanillo beach and along the Caribbean Sea, the hotel project will consist of 519 rooms, operated by Karisma Hotels & Resorts under the Margaritaville and Karisma brands, providing a unique luxury but casual experience, with first-class amenities and a relaxed beach atmosphere for guests who value exceptional quality without ostentation.
