{"id":9691,"date":"2019-10-24T12:31:18","date_gmt":"2019-10-24T16:31:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/news.capcana.com\/?p=9691"},"modified":"2026-02-20T09:56:04","modified_gmt":"2026-02-20T13:56:04","slug":"marmol-contreras-win-the-golf-amresorts-2019-tournament","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/capcana.com\/es\/marmol-contreras-win-the-golf-amresorts-2019-tournament\/","title":{"rendered":"MARMOL &#038; CONTRERAS WIN THE GOLF AMRESORTS 2019 TOURNAMENT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The first\u00a0AMResorts\u00a0Invitational Golf Tournament was held at\u00a0Punta Espada Golf Course with 48 participants and\u00a0two unforgettable days of experiences and activities.<\/p>\n<p>The activity began with a welcome cocktail at\u00a0Secrets Cap Cana\u00a0where the guests were welcomed by chief AMResorts executives.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Hern\u00e1ndez,\u00a0VP of Operations for the\u00a0Dominican Republic,\u00a0said, \u201cIt is a pride to have you all here, we have designed a great event for everyone\u2019s delight, our company is very proud of this country and all its staff.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The tournament was played in scramble in pairs modality, which were formed by the company, allowing participants to make new acquaintances.<\/p>\n<p>Chef\u00a0Juan Manuel Barrientos, arecognized among the 50 best chefs in Latin America for the 50Best list of San Pellegrino assisted the event.<\/p>\n<p>The pair composed by\u00a0Sergio M\u00e1rmol\u00a0and\u00a0Juan Jos\u00e9 Contreras\u00a0was crowned as champions, and with 67 gross strokes, they were the best of the tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Part of the funds raised were donated to the\u00a0Juanillo Elementary School. $RD 205,000.00 were spent in purchases of materials to support the school.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The first\u00a0AMResorts\u00a0Invitational Golf Tournament was held at\u00a0Punta Espada Golf Course with 48 participants and\u00a0two unforgettable days of experiences and activities.
