Architect Ken Shannon has completed the project the design Hyatt Ziva\/Zilara\u2019s latest flagship, which will open this November in what is commonly referred to as the \u2018Beverly Hills\u2019 of the Dominican Republic\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nestled in Punta Cana’s sought-after,\u00a0exclusive\u00a0gated\u00a0community of Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic, the\u00a0twin\u00a0Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana<\/a>\u00a0will\u00a0be\u00a0the sixth addition to\u00a0Hyatt\u2019s\u00a0Ziva\u00a0and\u00a0Zilara\u00a0all-inclusive\u00a0portfolio.<\/p>\n

While\u00a0Hyatt\u00a0Ziva\u00a0Cap Cana<\/a>\u00a0features an immersive\u00a0thematic atmosphere that includes\u00a0suites with local flora motifs, a tailor shop inspired Italian restaurant,\u00a0and\u00a0a waterpark for guests of all ages, the neighbouring\u00a0Hyatt\u00a0Zilara\u00a0Cap Cana<\/a>\u00a0will\u00a0feature\u00a0refined ocean view rooms, condo-inspired\u00a0swim-up\u00a0suites with fully furnished living\u00a0and\u00a0dining spaces, exclusive access to quiet infinity pools, and an\u00a0original\u00a0concept martini bar and coffee shop.<\/p>\n

The distinct double U-Shaped Infrastructure, designed by Ken Shannon, optimises\u00a0ocean views in suites across the resort, maximizing ocean-facing offerings and a sense of arrival that is unparalleled.<\/p>\n

Harnessing dual design, the hotels interiors infuse unique personalities into the twin resorts, Zilara\u2019s design has been described as \u201csexier and more sophisticated with a bold and edgy design for adults\u201d, while Ziva is meandering and playful with softer lines and vibrant colors making it a family-friendly oasis. Shared design features include moveable wall elements, swim up suites, and a connecting, elevated vista lobby overlooking the pools and ocean below.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Caribbean\u2019s most popular tourism destination had a total of 6,200 rooms in construction in April of this year.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In more than a nod to the rise in wellness and wellbeing, a\u00a0cenote-inspired underground spa will feature a larimar stone infused sky-lit lagoon and the DR\u2019s first Himalayan Salt Lounge. In addition, an elevated Fitness Centre, modeled to look like an old rum distillery, to add further sense-of-place, is set to be Playa\u2019s most extravagant to date, donning a brick warehouse vibe and outfitted with hanging punching bags to pay homage to the DR\u2019s love of boxing.<\/p>\n
