Cap Cana, Dominican Republic, October 30.- The Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) and its Circle of Graduates (CEU) held the 10th CEU Open Golf Cup with great success, benefiting its Leaders of Tomorrow scholarship program. The event took place at the prestigious Punta Espada golf course in Cap Cana, designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus, as part of a weekend full of activities.<\/p>\n
After an exciting golfing day, resulting as winner in the A category: Alberto Smith and Ferm\u00edn Moore in third place; Enrique Rodr\u00edguez and Kelvin Rodr\u00edguez in second place, and Ram\u00f3n Tavares and Gerardo Polonia, in first place. In the B category: Hamlet Santana and Albert Ventura, third place; Lorenzo G\u00f3mez and Julio G\u00f3mez, second place, and Antonio Ben\u00edtez and Antonio Ben\u00edtez Jr., in the first place. The winners in category C were: Julio Amado Casta\u00f1os and Julio Casta\u00f1os, third place; Amaury Moscoso and Johny Mendoza, second place, and in the first place, Ismar Torres and Paola Tolari.<\/p>\n
The special prizes went to: Edwin Lara and David Lougedo, for the Best Overall Net Score; Christian Rodr\u00edguez and Wilson Rodr\u00edguez, for the Best Overall Gross Score; Kevin Rodriguez, Closest to the Pin Hole, and Roy Galvan Jr., Longest Drive Hole 15.<\/p>\n
Once again, the CEU Open had the VPAR technology, which provides classification information in real time and allows knowing the position occupied by the participants while the game is being developed, so it is not necessary to wait for it to end. The winners were announced between cocktails, appetizers and raffles, during the closing cocktail that took place at Api Beach.
