Cap Cana, Dominican Republic<\/p>\n

The Dominican Association of Tourism Press (ADOMPRETUR), swore in the new directive of its subsidiary Hig\u00fcey: Strengthening, in a ceremony held in the area of \u200b\u200bLos Establos at Cap Cana.<\/p>\n

Yenny Polanco Lovera, president of ADOMPRETUR, swore in Livio Mariano S. Cede\u00f1o, as the new general secretary of Adompretur Hig\u00fcey, along with the other members Masiel Pe\u00f1a (undersecretary); Nelly P\u00e9rez Bonilla (Director of Training); \u00c1ngel Cordones (Director of Tourism and Culture); Meibol S\u00e1nchez (Director of events); Reina Hern\u00e1ndez (Director of Finance); Jos\u00e9 Luis Montero (Director of Public Relations); Kenny Polo (Director of Institutional Relations) and Baldy Cabrera (Member).<\/p>\n

Lovera highlighted the importance of the provincial branches of the union and of each of its members, in the work that national ADOMPRETUR can develop in favor of Tourism in the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Livio Mariano Cede\u00f1o, thanked Cap Cana<\/strong><\/a>, for the willingness and collaboration of his new management as the local head of the journalistic entity. He also highlighted the importance of the provincial press and called on business sectors to contribute to the sustainability of local media.<\/p>\n

The event ended with the words of the engineer, Abraham Hazoury, Member of the Cap Cana Council, who highlighted the importance of creating a provincial dialogue table, where social, political and business leadership actors can ensure the development and sustainability of the East region.<\/p>\n

Hazoury also highlighted the importance of journalistic work and the way in which its message impacts society, urging the new members of ADOMPRETUR to have a much broader vision in each of the actions carried out by the union, and the importance of knowing how to influence from your role.<\/p>\n

Posthumous tribute:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The activity was also the chosen setting for the celebration and delivery of a Posthumous Tribute to the family of the deceased engineer Dar\u00edo Yunes Garc\u00eda, a former member of Adompretur Hig\u00fcey, declaring him as “Precursor of Gastronomy and Ecotourism of Higuey, Altagracia Province”, through Resolution No. 12-2021 issued by the mayor of the municipality of Hig\u00fcey, Rafael Bar\u00f3n Duluc.<\/p>\n

The activity was attended by the tourism, political, social, and communication leadership of the La Altagracia province, as well as the main directors and members of the Cap Cana<\/a> council.<\/p>\n

La Asociaci\u00f3n Dominicana de Prensa Tur\u00edstica (ADOMPRETUR), jurament\u00f3 la nueva directiva de su filial Hig\u00fcey: Fortalecimiento, en un acto celebrado en el \u00e1rea de los Establos de la Ciudad Destino Cap Cana.<\/p>\n

Yenny Polanco Lovera, presidenta de Adompretur Nacional, jurament\u00f3 a Livio Mariano S. Cede\u00f1o, como nuevo secretario general de Adompretur Hig\u00fcey, junto a los dem\u00e1s miembros Masiel Pe\u00f1a (subsecretaria); Nelly P\u00e9rez Bonilla (Directora de Capacitaci\u00f3n); \u00c1ngel Cordones (Director de Turismo y Cultura); Meibol S\u00e1nchez (Directora de eventos); Reina Hern\u00e1ndez (Directora de Finanzas); Jos\u00e9 Luis Montero (Director de Relaciones P\u00fablicas); Kenny Polo (Director de Relaciones Institucionales) y Baldy Cabrera (Vocal).<\/p>\n

Lovera destac\u00f3 la importancia de las filiales provinciales del gremio y de cada uno de sus miembros, en el trabajo que ADOMPRETUR nacional puede desarrollar a favor del Turismo en la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana.<\/p>\n

En tanto que, Livio Mariano Cede\u00f1o, agradeci\u00f3 a Cap Cana Ciudad Destino, por la disposici\u00f3n y apertura en colaboraci\u00f3n de su nueva gesti\u00f3n como responsable local de la entidad period\u00edstica. Destac\u00f3 adem\u00e1s la importancia de la prensa de provincia, e hizo un llamado a los sectores empresariales a contribuir en la sustentabilidad de los medios locales.<\/p>\n

El acto finaliz\u00f3 con las palabras del ingeniero, Abraham Hazoury, Miembro del Consejo de Cap Cana, quien destac\u00f3 la importancia de crear una mesa provincial de di\u00e1logo, donde los actores de liderazgo social, pol\u00edtico y empresarial puedan velar por el desarrollo y la sostenibilidad de la regi\u00f3n Este.<\/p>\n

Hazoury destac\u00f3 adem\u00e1s la importancia de la labor period\u00edstica y la manera en que su mensaje impacta en la sociedad, exhort\u00e1ndoles a los nuevos miembros de ADOMPRETUR a tener una visi\u00f3n mucho m\u00e1s amplia en cada una de las acciones que desde el gremio se realice, y la importancia de saber influir desde su rol.<\/p>\n

La actividad fue adem\u00e1s el escenario escogido para la celebraci\u00f3n y entrega de un Homenaje P\u00f3stumo a la familia del fenecido ingeniero Dar\u00edo Yunes Garc\u00eda, ex miembro de Adompretur Hig\u00fcey, declar\u00e1ndolo como \u201cPrecursor de la Gastronom\u00eda y el Ecoturismo de Higuey, Provincia la Altagracia\u201d, mediante la Resoluci\u00f3n No. 12-2021 dictada por el alcalde del municipio de Hig\u00fcey, Rafael Bar\u00f3n Duluc.<\/p>\n
