The Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic (Mitur) will participate in one of the most important international meetings and tourism fairs in the world, FITUR, in Madrid, Spain, to be held from January 22 to 26.<\/p>\n

The companies of which until the time of writing this note were confirmed to participate in Fitur 2020 are: Aerodom, Aeropuerto,Internacional de La Romana, Amhsa Marina Hotels & Resorts, BHD Le\u00f3n Bank, Dominican Popular Bank S.A. \u2013 M\u00faltiple Bank, Banreservas, BestinPro, Blue Travel Partner Services, CODELPA, Cap Cana, Casa de Campo, La Romana, Catalonia Hotels & Resorts, Cinter Construcci\u00f3n, Coco Bongo Show & Disco, CEPM, Coral Hospitality Corp, Crowne Plaza Santo Domingo \/ Holiday Inn Santo Domingo, Abrisa Group, Hola Tours & Travel, Hodelpa Hotels, Imbert Dom\u00ednguez & Associates, Impressive Resorts & Spa Punta Cana, Karisma Hotels & Resorts, Majestic Resorts, Max Insurance, Otium Internacional, Profusion Group SRL,\u00a0Punta Cana International Airport, PuntaCana Resort & Club, Scape Park at Cap Cana,\u00a0Suconsar, Engineer & Architects, Therrestra \u2013 Design, Construction y Supervision,\u00a0VH Hotels & Resorts, Vista Sol Punta Cana Beach Resort & Spa and Viva Wyndham ResortsFITUR is the first annual event for world tourism professionals and the leading fair for the receptive and outgoing Latin American markets. In the 2019 edition, FITUR set a participation record of 10,487 companies from 165 countries \/ regions, 142,642 professionals and 110,848 visitors from the general public.<\/p>\n

For this new edition Korea is the partner country, which registers a significant increase in international visitors of 15.3 million tourists in 2018, and will boost the promotion of the destination by adding its brand to FITUR.<\/p>\n

South Korea is currently the third largest market for tourism in Asia for Spain. A very attractive and safe destination, with modern and high quality infrastructure, as well as a good public transport network.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
