The polo fields of Los Establos at Cap Cana (Dominican Republic) will host for the fourth consecutive year the celebration of a Barça Academy Cup Las Américas, that year after year continues to exceed its records.
In this 2019 edition, more than 600 players from 6 to 18 years old will face each other from December 12 to 15. They will be representing nine different countries,16 Barça Academies and Barça Academy Camps from across the Americas and will have the presence of two teams from Barcelona Barça Escola.
The delegations of this fourth edition of the Barça Academy Las Américas Cup, which will again be supported by Scotiabank, will represent a new record of countries, for the first time 9 different nationalities will participate.
Teams will come to this international event from Canada, the United States (San Diego, Chicago, Columbus, Charlotte, Austin and Barça Academy PRO New York), Costa Rica, Mexico (Puebla), Colombia (Bogotá, Cali, Medellín), Brazil (Sao Paulo), Peru (Lima), Dominican Republic and Barcelona. The participation in number of teams will also be a new record, going from 54 in the last season to 58. In addition to the competition, the young athletes who will take part in the Barça Academy Cup Las Américas will be able to enjoy different parallel activities within the facilities of Los Establos, as well as other activities that will be carried out on the beach to complement the recreational offer for athletes.
